Basketball Recap: Sam Bryant's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Talihina over Panama

Talihina and Panama squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Talihina had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panama Razorbacks by a score of 66-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (57), the Golden Tigers still had to take the loss.

Talihina lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sam Bryant, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Landen Griffith was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Talihina's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Panama, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
