Weiser had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Monday. They blew past the Homedale Trojans 19-5. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ellie Shirts was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Shirts, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Weiser kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 16 consecutive contests.

Weiser's record is now 17-1. As for Homedale, they moved to 6-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Weiser will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
