Basketball Recap: Williamsville South Takes a Loss

Williamsville South and Frewsburg squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Williamsville South had to settle for second. They fell 82-71 to the Frewsburg Bears.

Frewsburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Jimerson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Jimerson has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Trocki, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 17 points along with eight assists and six boards.

Williamsville South's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Frewsburg, their record now sits at 15-4.

As of now, neither Williamsville South nor Frewsburg have any future games scheduled.
