Basketball Recap: Bethel Comes Up Short

If Bethel was riding high fresh off their 61-25 takedown of Menchville last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bethel Bruins were outmatched by the Woodside Wolverines and fell 69-32. The Bruins have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bethel fell to 2-1. As for Woodside, the win (which was their 13th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel will venture away from home to face off against Phoebus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodside, they are taking a road trip to take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
