Soccer Recap: Watertown Takes Down Elkhorn in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Watertown rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Elkhorn Elks a 1-0 shutout.

Watertown's victory bumped their record up to 5-7-4. As for Elkhorn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6-1.

Looking ahead, Watertown will take on Sauk Prairie on Saturday. Sauk Prairie will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Watertown surely won't give up without a fight. Elkhorn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
