Baseball Recap: Bishop McNamara Mustangs vs. Gonzaga Eagles
Bishop McNamara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gonzaga Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 back in March.
Kamryn Knott and Willis Coppedge did some serious damage despite the final result: Knott went 1-for-4 with one home run, while Coppedge went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Bishop McNamara's record now sits at 6-14. As for Gonzaga, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
