Basketball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams lost against Joseph City last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Williams Vikings took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Joseph City Wildcats.

It was another big night for Eli James, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Joseph City. James is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last eight games he's played. Landon Miller was another key player, putting up seven points and eight steals.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Joseph City, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joseph City, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-65 win against Seligman on the 7th.
