Volleyball Game Preview: Folsom Bulldogs vs. St. Mary's Rams + Official Tickets

The Folsom Bulldogs will challenge the St. Mary's Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Folsom sitting on eight straight wins and St. Mary's on five.

Folsom is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Davis Sr. as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Khloe Wong and Ryan Kannegeisser were among the main playmakers for Folsom as the former had nine digs and four aces and the latter had 16 assists and two aces. Kendra Hardy also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Folsom was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's got the win against Pitman on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Folsom better focus on containing Rachel Nemee and Genevieve Rishwain as the pair were huge in St. Mary's win. Nemee had 13 digs and six assists, while Rishwain had eight digs and three aces. Nemee is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Folsom, their victory bumped their record up to 31-9.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Folsom has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.8 aces per game.
