Baseball Recap: Maeser Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Maeser Prep Academy and Piute squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Maeser Prep Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 15-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Maeser Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Piute, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Maeser Prep Academy nor Piute have any future games scheduled.
