Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shrine Catholic). They put the hurt on the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES with a sharp 23-8 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the WOLVES: they've now won seven in a row.

Kate Zboril was incredible, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases. Zboril is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Singler, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.

Shrine Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .735. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Shrine Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Shrine Catholic will square off against Oakland Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Detroit Cristo Rey, they will take on Renaissance at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
