Basketball Recap: Miles Takes a Loss

Miles was the 58-38 winner over Christoval when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Miles Bulldogs fell 64-57 to the Christoval Cougars on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Cougars are ranked 1084th).

Miles' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Christoval, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Miles won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Llano at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Miles is facing Llano at the right time seeing as Llano is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Christoval, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Iraan at 11:40 a.m. on Friday.
