Volleyball Recap: Racine Case Beats Racine Park for Their Third Straight Win

Racine Case entered their tilt with Racine Park on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Racine Case won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-13.

Elise Webster had an outrageously good game as she had 21 digs and two aces. Those 21 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Ortiz, who had 14 assists and three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Racine Case was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are 4-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Racine Case's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Racine Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Racine Case and Racine Park could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Eagles will square off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (238 vs. 56). Meanwhile, Racine Park (ranked 382nd) will meet Port Washington (ranked 80th) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
