Basketball Game Preview: McDonald Blue Devils vs. Waterloo Vikings

The McDonald Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Waterloo Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McDonald is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, McDonald strolled past Western Reserve with points to spare, taking the game 60-44.

Meanwhile, Waterloo took a blow against Mineral Ridge on Friday, falling 65-33. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for McDonald, their win bumped their record up to 14-0.

Everything came up roses for McDonald against Waterloo in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as the team secured a 67-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
