Volleyball Recap: Las Animas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Las Animas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Swink Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-6.

When it comes to explaining why Las Animas lost, don't look at Ava LaBarge. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and two assists.

Las Animas' loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Swink, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Las Animas has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Rocky Ford on the 16th. As for Swink, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Rye on the 16th.
