Baseball Recap: Fox Creek Takes a Loss

Fox Creek came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-4 to the Woodruff Wolverines.

Chance Weathersbee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Devin Hillary also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Fox Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodruff, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Creek will host Woodruff at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodruff, they will challenge Blacksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
