South View has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jack Britt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. South View's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Jack Britt's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
South View fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Cape Fear on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts.

JORDYNN PARNELL put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over eight innings while giving up six earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, DESTINY SHOULARS was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, while Jack Britt put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Seventy-First. The Buccaneers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 19-0 victory. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
Jack Britt got a massive performance out of JoAnna Rone, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Ta'Niyah Turner, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Jack Britt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .781. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Jack Britt's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for South View, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.
Everything went South View's way against Jack Britt when the teams last played back in March, as South View made off with a 14-5 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Buccaneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
