Soccer Recap: Metro Christian Takes a Loss

Metro Christian fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Sequoyah on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6. Even if Metro Christian couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Metro Christian dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Sequoyah, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Metro Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Cookeville on the 3rd. As for Sequoyah, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Cleveland on the 7th.
