Basketball Recap: Ishpeming Comes Up Short

Ishpeming lost to Iron Mountain back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hematites fell 71-59 to the Mountaineers.

Ishpeming's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Iron Mountain, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ishpeming will challenge Munising at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Iron Mountain, they will face off against Menominee at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The Maroons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mountaineers surely won't give up without a fight.
