Baseball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the St. Henry Redskins, falling 8-1. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Redskins recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

St. John's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Elwer, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Tyler Lindeman also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for St. Henry, their record is now 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will face off against Versailles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Henry, they will take on Tinora at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
