Pine Hill not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over To'hajiilee. That's more bragging rights for Pine Hill, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Pine Hill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-16.

Kirra Smith paced Pine Hill's offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from Chenille Martinez and her 21 assists. Tyshanna Chee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win snapped Pine Hill's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-9 record. As for To'hajiilee, they moved to 7-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Pine Hill and To'hajiilee will both be playing Northwest the next time they take the court. To'hajiilee will host Northwest at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Pine Hill will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
