Tri County came into Monday's match looking for another win against Fairbury, but Brodie Prellwitz wouldn't allow it. The Fairbury Jeffs came out on top against the Tri County Trojans by a score of 51-40 on Monday thanks in part to Prellwitz, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Tri County still got an impressive performance from Drew Siems, who earned 18 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 45% of Tri County's points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jason Wehrman, who went 5 of 9 to rack up 13 points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-12. As for Tri County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Fairbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-36 defeat against Centennial on the 4th. As for Tri County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-49 win against Heartland on the 8th.
