Football Recap: Rockridge's Undefeated Season over After 11 Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Rockridge couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 24-17 to the Tri-Valley Vikings on Saturday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rockets came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Vikings are ranked 145th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Rockridge fell to 10-1. As for Tri-Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Rockridge nor Tri-Valley have any future games scheduled.
