Baseball Recap: Oasis Takes a Loss

Oasis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-1 to the Community School of Naples Seahawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Sharks were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Seahawks when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oasis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Community School of Naples, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Oasis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Cape Coral on the 4th. As for Community School of Naples, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Canterbury on the 4th.
