Basketball Recap: Beaver Dam Diamondback vs. Liberty Baptist Academy Knights
The Beaver Dam Diamondback can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past Liberty Baptist Academy with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Beaver Dam also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Liberty Baptist Academy had strong showings from Bruce Delgado, who scored eight points along with six steals, and Isaiah Duran, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Beaver Dam's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Spring Mountain the next time they take the court. Beaver Dam will host the Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
