Baseball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sandusky's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Ross Little Giants on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Blue Streaks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sandusky now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Ross, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sandusky will square off against Bellevue at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Ross, they will face off against Start at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Little Giants' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
