Softball Recap: West Central Trojans vs. Washington Township Senators
West Central got themselves on the board against Washington Township on Thursday, but Washington Township never followed suit. They came out on top against the Senators by a score of 5-0. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Senators: they've now won four in a row.
Jalie Glasford was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Kailee Bishop was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Tenley Bollinger also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
The victory got West Central back to even at 3-3. As for Washington Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Central will challenge Morgan Township at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Washington Township, they will take on Tri-Township at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Senators' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
