Baseball Preview: St. Joseph Academy Flashes vs. University Christian Christians

The St. Joseph Academy Flashes will face off against the University Christian Christians at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

St. Joseph Academy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Oakleaf, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flashes have posted since February 12th.

Cullen Garner looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Dayton Taylor was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
