Heritage Academy strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Imagine Prep Storm. The eight-run effort marked the Heroes' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jordyn Taylor was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Zoey Wheaton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Heritage Academy's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.9 runs over those games. As for Imagine Prep, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Heritage Academy will head out to challenge Ridgeline Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Imagine Prep, they will challenge Imagine Prep Superstition at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Storm are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
