Volleyball Recap: Deer River Comes Up Short

Deer River was the 2-1 winner over Aitkin when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Gobblers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Deer River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Aitkin, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Deer River has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Moose Lake/Willow River on the 13th. As for Aitkin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Greenway on the 13th.
