Football Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lago Vista Vikings, falling 48-7. While losing is never fun, the Ducks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 687th, while the Vikings are ranked 322nd).

Johnny Guzman threw for 152 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Zavier Stokes was his top target, picking up 78 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Eric Walker Ii rushed for 44 yards.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lago Vista, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
