It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The Rock National had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took down the Specially Fit Academy Rams 77-61. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Rams are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for The Rock National and bumps their season record up to 20-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.0 points over those games. As for Specially Fit Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-16 record this season.

The Rock National does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Specially Fit Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oak Hill Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th.
