George Wythe came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Honaker Tigers get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering George Wythe have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Honaker from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mason Tate led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

George Wythe pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three contests. As for Honaker, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, George Wythe will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Chiswell at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Honaker, they will square off against Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patrick Henry will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Honaker surely won't give up without a fight.
