Softball Recap: Owen County Comes Up Short

Owen County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Gallatin County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 back in April.

Owen County's record now sits at 5-11. As for Gallatin County, their win bumped their record up to 15-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Owen County by a score of 13-3 later that day.
