Recap: Tom Bean Tomcats vs. Trenton Tigers
The Tom Bean Tomcats won the last time they faced the Trenton Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Tom Bean blew past Trenton 38-18. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Tom Bean has managed all season.
Tom Bean was led to victory by Samantha Lind and Allie Hickman. Lind scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Hickman dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taylor Vick, who scored four points.
Tom Bean's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Trenton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Tom Bean will be playing in front of their home fans against Wolfe City at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Wolfe City and Tom Bean are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Trenton, they will head out on the road to face off against Celeste at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Celeste focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Friday.
