Baseball Game Preview: Viewmont Vikings vs. Roy Royals

For the second straight game, Viewmont will face off against Roy. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Royals at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Viewmont is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

While Viewmont's win against Roy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Royals 3-2 on Monday.

Beckham Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 13 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Kade Marriott was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
