Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Adrian Maples. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Adrian are ranked 168th).

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Adrian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Coming up, Lincoln will take on Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Adrian, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Northwest at 12:00 p.m. Northwest's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
