Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask SEED). They breezed by the Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans on the road to the tune of 44-6 on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given SEED's disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 168th in Maryland, while Richard Wright Public Charter School is ranked 25th in District of Columbia).

Leading SEED to victory were Ashlin Miller and Malcom Smith, Jr.. Miller rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, while Smith, Jr. threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. Smith, Jr. didn't just play on offense: he also defended a pass and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to SEED's defense and their seven sacks. In that department, Myelle Mack was the leader with 2.5.
