Trinity Classical Academy entered their tilt with Tehachapi on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 4-1.

Andrew Carlson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Carlson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Saroughian, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Trinity Classical Academy pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Tehachapi, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Classical Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against de Toledo at 3:15 p.m. on April 2. As for Tehachapi, they will venture away from home to challenge Clovis East at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Tehachapi 3.8, Clovis East 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
