Basketball Recap: Deseret Peak Comes Up Short on the Road Against Providence Hall

Deseret Peak had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Hall Patriots on Tuesday.

Providence Hall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxon Vincent out in front who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave Vincent a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Curtis, who scored 12 points and three steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deseret Peak will host Uintah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Hall, they will welcome Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
