Lemont has gone 6-1 against Providence Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Lemont HS will face off against the Celtics at 8:15 p.m. Lemont will be strutting in after a victory while Providence Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.

Lemont had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past Plainfield Central to the tune of 59-26. The win continues a trend for the Lemont HS in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Providence Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat Bradley-Bourbonnais on Monday and fell 55-53.

Lemont strolled past Providence Catholic when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 65-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lemont HS since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
