Grand Ledge never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on the Waverly Warriors with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Grand Ledge pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Waverly, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Ledge will venture away from home to face off against Haslett at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waverly, they will square off against Holt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
