South Gallia had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.7 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They claimed a resounding 57-16 win over the Oak Hill Oaks. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Oaks are ranked 758th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Gallia's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.5 points per game. As for Oak Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, South Gallia and Oak Hill will both be playing Symmes Valley the next time they take the court. Oak Hill will head out to face Symmes Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while South Gallia will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
