Volleyball Recap: North Mac Panthers vs. Lincolnwood Lancers
North Mac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincolnwood Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lincolnwood scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18.
North Mac's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lincolnwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Mac will challenge Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincolnwood, they are on the road again on Monday to play Gillespie at 7:00 p.m. Gillespie will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lincolnwood surely won't give up without a fight.
