Softball Recap: Dobyns-Bennett Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Science Hill, Dobyns-Bennett was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Ridge Wolves, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since March 7th.

Dobyns-Bennett's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for West Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dobyns-Bennett will welcome Science Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
