Baseball Recap: Tomah Comes Up Short

Tomah suffered their closest loss since May 28, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders by a score of 5-3. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Raiders earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Tomah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Looking ahead, Tomah will face off against Holmen at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, they will venture away from home to challenge Wausau East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Red Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
