Volleyball Recap: Summertown Comes Up Short at Home Against Eagleville

Summertown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Eagleville by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Summertown hasn't had much luck with Eagleville recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Summertown took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 19-25, 25-15, 15-11.

Summertown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Perry County on the 19th. As for Eagleville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Community on the 19th.
