Football Recap: Caddo Piles Up the Points Against Snyder

Caddo put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Snyder Cyclones, posting a 48-0 win. The Bruins' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Caddo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake McKay, who picked up 30 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. McKay was even better on defense, making 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Noah Carvell made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Caddo, adding 21 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bayler Black, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from McKay.

Caddo's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Snyder, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Caddo and Snyder will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bruins will take on rival Quinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Snyder is set to square off against their familiar foe Hollis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
