Having just played yesterday, the North Forrest Eagles will get right back to it and host the Wayne County War EaglesLady War Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: North Forrest has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Wayne County will arrive with 12 straight wins.

North Forrest saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 54-39 bruising from Mize.

Meanwhile, Wayne County didn't have too much trouble with West Jones on Tuesday as they won 66-52. Given the War EaglesLady War Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Mustangs are ranked 265th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Forrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Wayne County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
