Soccer Recap: Timberlake Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Faith Christian

Timberlake Christian faced Faith Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tornadoes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Timberlake Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Faith Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Timberlake Christian's goal came courtesy of Bennett Portnoy, who's now up to five this season.

Timberlake Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Faith Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Timberlake Christian has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Westover Christian Academy on the 5th. As for Faith Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Roanoke Valley Christian on the 4th.
