West is 9-1 against Troy since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Trojans will head out to face off against the Troy Trojans at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

West easily dispatched Whitney on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. West fell just short of Clifton by a score of 35-32 on Tuesday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Troy didn't have quite enough to beat McGregor on Friday and fell 35-33.

Troy dropped their record down to 13-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for West, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-14.

West strolled past Troy in their previous meeting on January 7th by a score of 47-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for West since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
